Speech Elements The Process
A number of people, especially senior business executives and government officials, have to give speeches to a variety of audiences. When you deliver a speech, not only your image and reputation but also the success or failure of the idea you are trying to sell is at stake. Delivering a good speech isn’t easy. You have to face two challenges. First, you have to write a good speech and then you have to deliver the same confidently.

WE CAN ASSIST YOU (Freelance Speech Writer)

Most people are knowledgeable about the subject matter they want to talk about. They know what they want to say but are unable to develop a convincing, logical and a focused STORY about what they want to say. In other words, they are not able to give it a focused and logical structure, that is, the theme, introduction, body and the conclusion. Now this is where we come in.

We can assist you to arrive at a focused theme, develop a structure for your speech so as to build a convincing STORY for your speech. We will work with you to fine tune the speech you may already developed or we can develop a suitable speech to meet your needs. In addition, if there is a presentation that needs to be made, we can develop the presentation for you also. We will take your thoughts, ideas and words (maybe add a couple of our own) to develop a speech that will hopefully convince your audience of your ideas.

SPEECH ELEMENTS

You need the following to build a good STORY for your speech:

(a) A theme / title

Once you have chosen a theme, then you cannot deviate from it. Everything in your speech should revolve around it. The theme is basically the message you want to convey.

(b) Introduction

Here you tell the audience what you are going to tell them. You have to make the introduction interesting so as to get the attention of the audience.

(c) Body

In this section you tell your audience what you told them in the introduction what you will tell them. Here you give the relevant and important points to support your introduction or the thesis statement.

(d) Conclusion

Here you tell your audience what you have already told them.

(e) Delivery

We believe that if your STORY is convincing, logical and focused on your theme, delivery will become automatically easy. When your story is logical, it also become easy to remember. Even if you forget, a logical story will assist you to find the next thing to say a little more easily.
