Background
This training enhances participants' ability to speak competently and effectively in public and to groups: to make persuasive and convincing presentations of their ideas and to impart information in a clear and understandable manner. It enables them to do so in a way which enhances their personal authority and impact while allowing them to feel in control.
Objectives
To understand the strengths and limitations of presentations
To learn how to present themselves and their personality effectively
To receive detailed personal feedback and coaching on their personal strengths and weaknesses as presenters
To learn how to continue to develop their public speaking skills
To learn how to structure a powerful case presentation, or persuasive speech, including presenting to win business
To learn how to present technical information, (a) to those audiences who understand technical matters and (b) to those audiences who do not.
How to prepare, rehearse and use notes.
To learn techniques of impromptu speaking
To learn techniques for the psychological and physical control of nerves
To learn the role of visual aids in presentations
To learn how to chair and take part in team presentations
To learn how to handle questions
